Terms of Service

These terms apply to the AirBench mobile app and the airbench.dev website, operated by Bohdan Mukha ("we", "us"). By using the app or site, you agree to them. For the app, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where the two conflict, Apple's EULA governs your license to the app.

What AirBench is

AirBench is a professional diagnostic toolkit for wireless development — Bluetooth Low Energy scanning and GATT exploration, MQTT client features, and NFC tag reading. It is a tool for engineers; it is not a security product, a medical device, or a certified measurement instrument.

Acceptable use

You agree to use AirBench only on devices, networks, and systems that you own or are explicitly authorized to test. In particular:

  • Do not use the app to access, probe, or interfere with devices or networks without permission.
  • Writing values to BLE characteristics can change the behavior of real hardware. You are responsible for the consequences of any write, advertisement, or connection you initiate.
  • Comply with all laws and regulations that apply to you, including radio, privacy, and computer-access laws in your jurisdiction.

Data shown by the app

Decoded values (including readings from health-related BLE profiles) are provided for engineering diagnostics only and may be incomplete or inaccurate. They are not medical advice and must not be used for medical, safety-critical, or regulatory decisions.

No warranty

The app and site are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will be compatible with any particular device or accessory.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including damage to hardware, loss of data, or lost profits — arising from your use of the app or site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including EU consumer rights that apply to you.

Purchases

Optional paid features, if offered, are sold through the App Store. Pricing is shown there before purchase; payment, receipts, and refunds are handled by Apple under their terms.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves; the effective date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
